how our program works

In many states unpasteurized raw milk is only available through programs known as cow shares.

The consumer (you) pays a one time fee for the share

After that you pay a monthly fee known as a boarding fee of that entitles you the share holder to receive 4 gallons of farm fresh raw milk per month.

Raw unpasteurized milk from pastured cows is a completely balanced food. Your body could live exclusively on raw milk Raw cow's milk has all 20 of the standard amino acids. Raw Butter

Bring 1 qt cream to room temp. (optional pinch of salt) Place in food processor or blender.

Mix until ball of butter forms. Drain off excess buttermilk and rinse with cold water until water runs clear. Place into butter mold or bowl and refrigerate.

Buttermilk is excellent for cooking with!

Sour Cream

1 qt raw cream in glass jar. Add 1 – 2 tbs. cultured buttermilk or yogurt.

Preheat oven to 165 and turn off. Place jar of cream into oven with oven light on and allow to sit for 24 – 48 hrs. It may seem thin but will thicken after refrigerating until cold.

Interesting Information

Ovo lacto vegetarians don't eat meat, but consume eggs and dairy products. Ovo vegetarians eat eggs, but no dairy. Lacto vegetarians eat dairy, but no eggs.
