Is Nativo Farms Milk Certified Organic?

Our process is identical to organic if not better! Nativo Farms produces Natural Raw Dairy. Natural Raw dairy is the naturally occurring, unprocessed and uncooked state of milk.

We strictly prohibit the use of any feed containing animal by products or un natural ingredients.

 

We do not believe in confining our cows, they are free to graze 24 / 7 and they actually do it. We do not use antibiotics, hormones, steroids or other toxic medications. If an animal needs medical attention she is removed from the milking line until she has fully recovered.

 

Our cows are fed the following; Grass, hay and a small amount of specialized grain mixed especially for them and. Our cows are working hard to produce milk for us and they want and need a little extra energy that our all natural grain gives them. We do not believe a milking cow should survive on grass alone. As far back as cows are traceable they have been eating maize and other grains straight from the fields.

How long does raw milk last?

7 to 14 days for drinking as sweet milk. After that the milk will start to develop a sourness. No need to dispose of it! At this point it's perfect for many recipes. Bread, custards etc.

Can Raw Milk Be Frozen?

Use wide mouth mason jars to freeze your raw milk (leave at least 2 inch space at top) to avoid broken jars. To thaw just put in the fridge for a day, or thaw by placing jar in a pan of cool water for a few hours.

Does freezing or cooking raw milk kill the good bacteria?

Freezing the milk only puts to good stuff to sleep

When the milk is thawed the milk comes back to life

Cooking raw milk does kill the good enzymes.
